Seeds of the Gospel

10 September 2025

This past month has once again brought plenty of rain!

This is something that shouldn’t have surprised us though, since we prayed with the faith communities for God to bless their crops with enough water for a fruitful harvest.

This is the season when seeds need rain to grow and bear fruit. In the same way, we trust that the seeds of the Gospel, sown in people’s hearts, will take root in good soil and grow into trees that will one day bear lasting fruit.

It is always a joy to serve others and to show them the love of God in tangible ways. Some of our local friends who are living with disabilities recently received audio players with recordings of God’s Word have begun listening—and their hearts are responding.

Three of these friends decided to join us for worship twice this past month. One woman told us that she understands messages shared and truly enjoys listening.

Another woman, upon hearing about the three who came to worship, expressed her own desire to attend church. Though she has extremely limited mobility, and hasn’t left her upstairs home in many years, she wants her son to carry her down to the car so she can join us.

Isn’t it wonderful how hearts that encounter God’s love can’t help but receive and embrace it?

Please pray that the seeds of God’s love planted in these precious lives will take deep root—growing into faith and understanding. Pray also against obstacles that might prevent people from accessing God’s word.
