Church Engagement
Serving in mission alongside Australian Baptist churches is at the heart of all we do.
From our faithful beginnings until today, local Baptist churches have been front and centre in our shared witness of Jesus around the world.
We see that local churches exist for mission. We believe that all local church communities are called to join God in his restoring and loving mission in their own communities, as well as across the world. Healthy, vibrant churches are marked by this local and global mission commitment.
Baptist Mission Australia exists to support churches bring this commitment to life.
Increasingly we want our relationships with local churches to be marked by mutuality – where we support each other in local and global mission.
We’re committed to tailoring church relationships to suit the needs of local faith communities.
With our intercultural expertise we can help your church more effectively cross the street with the hope of Jesus in your local community. We can also facilitate personal connections with Baptist Mission Australia intercultural team members, ministry partners and projects to encourage and inspire your congregation.
We celebrate that the world has come to Australia! We are seeking the Spirit’s leading in exploring new opportunities to engage with Baptist churches in intercultural mission initiatives in Australia.
We wouldn’t exist without the support of our Australian Baptist movement. And across Africa, Asia and Australia today Baptist Mission Australia serves as our movement’s intercultural mission agency. We are uniquely positioned to help Baptist churches multiply Kingdom impact – across the street and across the the world.

Historically, one of the primary reasons Baptist churches partnered together is for the sake of the Gospel. I value the deep sense of history and friendship we have with Baptist Mission Australia.
