African Leadership Development
Ministry in Zambia and Zimbabwe

For many years Baptist Mission Australia has been partnering with colleges and churches to train women and men to support the church. In 2025, we are excited to enhance this partnership to support a ‘train the trainer’ model with the goal of increasing locally-led theological training. Through this, more African Christian leaders are equipped and resourced to strengthen the local church and impact their communities.
We are joining together in leadership development and Biblical training at Kabwe Bible Institute (Zambia), Northern Baptist Association of Zambia, Central Baptist Association of Zambia and the Baptist Union of Zimbabwe.
Funds raised cover costs of hosting training sessions, including hospitality, travel, accommodation, licenses and materials.
Local leaders are being inspired and equipped to develop more local leaders in culturally appropriate ways. The impact for the church and communities in Africa is growing!
