These churches, communities and theological colleges are eager to share the love of Jesus and equip people in theological training to support emerging leaders, pastors and faithful followers of Jesus in communities across Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Over many years, Baptist Mission Australia has partnered with Zambian and Zimbabwean theological colleges and Baptist churches to run training for men and women to support and strengthen the church. In 2025, we are excited to increase this partnership to see more participants trained as local theological trainers, supporting a ‘train the trainer’ model with the goal of increasing locally-led theological training so that more African Christian leaders are equipped and resourced to run theological training, strengthening the local church.
Through our partnerships, we are joining together in leadership development and Biblical training at Kabwe Bible Institute (Zambia), Northern Baptist Association of Zambia, Central Baptist Association of Zambia and the Baptist Union of Zimbabwe.
Costs include hosting training sessions with our partners in Zambia and Zimbabwe, hospitality, travel, accommodation, training licenses and materials.
Committed to reconciliation, Baptist Mission Australia acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and their connection to land, sea and community and all that the creator God gifted to them. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
