This is a fun way to get people with the same heart and with a particular focus to move into a more intimate group for specific prayer. It is also a great way to educate people on the nature of various communities around the world with very few followers of Jesus.
Resources needed
- Paper and a pen for each person
- Prayer needs for each people group
Activity
Each group member has a piece of paper and a pen. They take a few minutes to focus on God and either through hearing Him or through their mind’s eye – pictures or expressions, they write down all the words that come to them about a particular people group.
After the allocated time, read out the people group information from the website and as it is shared, the participants mark if any of their descriptions match. Then divide into smaller groups with people who had similar words or descriptions. Use the information and resources to focus your prayers specifically on that people group.
