Mike recently attended a conference on behalf of the Education Foundation. At the conference he met a young man named ‘Y’ who was curious about Jesus. Pray that the Holy Spirit would move in Y’s heart and that he would meet other followers of Jesus to connect with.

Pray for projects our team are involved in; the Education Foundation, the café, internship program and the transformational business initiative. May these projects lead to better outcomes for local people and may they experience Jesus’ love through interactions with the team.

Local friends of ‘R and B’, a man and his daughter, recently gave their lives to Jesus. Pray for these friends as they grow in their faith. Pray for their faith community that is sharing God’s love in a slum area.

Give thanks for the accessible and affordable eye care that our partner NGO provides people in need. May lives be changed as the organisation continues spreading awareness about blindness and the importance of eye care.

‘Manan’, a local friend of Roy’s, has recently received a prosthetic leg. Pray for him as he adjusts to the leg. Pray that God will continue to show up in Manan’s life in surprising ways.

Pray for the team of passionate local women Summer is training. These women are learning to support families with children with cerebral palsy. May this training lead to better quality of life for babies, mothers and the women who help them.

On arriving back after six months in Australia Melanie and Tim were told that four of their Yawo friends had died. As they grieve with the families of these people may there be a deep sense of God’s presence.

Give thanks that the economy has stabilised and the price of fuel, electricity and gas has stopped rising. Pray for those who continue to struggle with hunger and poverty.

Give thanks for Dema’s 25 years of service with Baptist Mission Australia. Praise God for the wonderful teams, individuals and churches who have journeyed with him throughout these 25 years and the heart he has to disciple others.

Pray for Dema and Carolyn’s Thai friends, Mae Khit and Loong La, who want to be baptised. May God prepare them for this important step in their faith and guide Dema and Carolyn as they walk alongside them.

Pray for Janet as she continues to prepare for service in Thailand. She hopes to begin her time there in January next year. Pray that God will provide an excellent language nurturer for Janet, a place for her to live and that He will prepare the hearts of the future communities she will join.
