“The K people live for the day, working hard to feed, clothe and educate their children. They are experts at hospitality and honouring their guests. They are also teaching us about honouring older people.
While Islam is part of their cultural identity, it doesn’t necessarily impact their hearts. Our team is seeking to engage with the K community through education, occupational therapy, fitness, carpentry and metalwork. We are seeing the Holy Spirit gently shape the characters of our K friends. This is slow work that requires patience. We long for lives to be transformed and for whole families to come to faith in Jesus.”
