Suzanne and Thomas have a heart for the K people of the Silk Road. They are keen to deeply engage in language and culture to create long-lasting relationships and provide much-needed opportunities for people to learn about Jesus and experience God’s love for them.
Suzanne completed her first 3-year term in the Silk Road in 2026 and eagerly anticipates returning to her friends, sharing cups of tea with her neighbours, providing low-cost English classes at the local language centre, and equipping local teachers to feel confident and competent in their craft. Proficiency in English can open doors to new study and employment opportunities to improve quality of life for many people in her community.
Thomas looks forward to returning to the Silk Road after his brief visit in 2025. His heart is to forge deep connections with men in the community, engaging in hands-on projects and sharing about Jesus.
Both Suzanne and Thomas are passionate about people hearing the Good News in ways that make sense to them and being part of God’s transformative work in the lives of the K people.
