Together with their son Quentin (born October 2025), they are preparing to serve in Northern Thailand with Baptist Mission Australia, responding to God’s leading to walk alongside the Ethnic Thai people. They are sent by their home church, Riverton Baptist Community Church.
Nick works as a therapy assistant at Armadale Hospital and has a heart for practical care and supporting people through vulnerable seasons of life. Carrissa is an artist and small business owner of Jotterbook Flowers who runs creative workshops as a way to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
Nick and Carrissa began to sense God’s calling during a mission trip to Chiang Rai in 2024. There, they met local Thai believers and witnessed God’s love shared through genuine relationships with “people of peace” (Matthew 10:5–15). This relational approach deeply resonated with their personalities, gifts, and ways they were already serving in Australia.
Rather than arriving with fixed programs, Nick and Carrissa are committed to learning the local language and culture so they can use their skills and passions to share the good news of Jesus in ways that are meaningful within community rhythms.
As they prepare for this next season, they would love your prayers—for wisdom and
faithfulness during preparation, courage to share the vision, and grace as they
navigate the joys and challenges of being parents.
If you sense God inviting you to partner in this ministry through financial support, they would be deeply grateful.
Your gifts will help fund their living and ministry costs. These include:
Health $2,000
Travel $5,000
Culture and Language learning $4,000
Please note:
Gifts to Carrissa and Nick are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
