“Sanuk” means fun and is a fundamental part of Thai culture, and Christmas time is a particular season for fun. Team members Muana and Villy come alongside six communities of faith in Chiang Mai and Phayao to help host and organise Christmas events. These events are for the whole community to come enjoy food, activities, hear a message of hope and receive small Christmas gifts.
This project will cover the resourcing costs for Christmas events in December 2025.
There is always great community feedback to these Christmas activities and Muana and Villy strengthen their networks in communities as they join with local faith community leaders in running these joy-filled events.
Please note: If a project is fully funded when your gift arrives, we will allocate your gift to a project, team member or ministry that is in the same location or fulfils a similar purpose. All care is taken to ensure project and gift information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, project information may change without notice. If you wish to discuss your project choice, contact our Projects Manager on 1800 329 165 or projects@baptistmissionaustralia.org.
