TonCedar Partnership Thailand
Ministry in Thailand
Baptist Mission Australia partners with TonCedar Foundation, seconding Luke, Belle and their family to support the important ministry of connecting with working professionals, equipping those who may face barriers to reach their full potential.
TonCedar’s approach reflects a Biblical understanding of work: that every person is created in God’s image, gifted by Him and able to contribute to the flourishing of their community.
Supporting this partnership provides funding to TonCedar Foundation who provide mentoring, professional development and targeted training for entrepreneurs and creatives, including those who are marginalised or have limited opportunities. TonCedar also builds connections between universities, government and non-government organisations, and churches – creating a collaborative ecosystem of positive change.
Through these relationships and networks, people have the opportunity to develop their skills, grow in confidence, pursue their professional aspirations and become contributors to their wider community. As individuals flourish, families, workplaces and communities benefit too.
“Work of all kinds whether with the hands or the mind, evidences our dignity as human beings because it reflects the image of God the Creator in us.” – Timothy Keller
