The B people of South Asia are one of the largest ethnic groups in the world. There are few B followers of Jesus and they are in need of easy-to-access, secure Bible resources.
For B people, their Muslim faith is central to their identity, making it a difficult environment to both share the Gospel and establish a believing community. The aim of this project is to share the Word of God in a way that people can understand and to develop teaching materials and resources that support believers to grow in their faith.
We seek to place the newest appropriate version of Bible on both a website and an app. This ensures it is much more accessible and easily shareable than physical Bibles.
Funds support the establishment of a dedicated studio, from which written, video and audio discipleship materials are produced and distributed. Online Bible studies and discipleship training courses are also facilitated to maximise the impact and deepen the growth for local believers.
This is a two year funding target which will cover expenses in 2025 and 2026.
Through the resources and programs, we want to see the Word of God shared with a vast number of B people in South Asia and further afield as well as provide in-depth discipleship to the believing community, within their cultural context.
Please note: If a project is fully funded when your gift arrives, we will allocate your gift to a project, team member or ministry that is in the same location or fulfils a similar purpose. All care is taken to ensure project and gift information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, project information may change without notice. If you wish to discuss your project choice, contact our Projects Manager on 1800 329 165 or projects@baptistmissionaustralia.org.
