This is the one opportunity each year that our partner NGO’s more than 100 local staff and their families all come together to celebrate, share stories, have fun together, and acknowledge the one who makes this all possible. In communal cultures like this, times like this are especially important for the building up of the community.
Held over three days and in a quiet, forested location, our team members join partner NGO staff who have the opportunity to showcase their work and to strengthen their relationships. For most, this is the only ‘time off’ they have all year. They will be inspired by guest speakers and refreshed through a cultural program including music, dancing and friendly sporting contests and games.
It is a time of connection, refreshment and renewal to support the staff who serve the NGO in life-changing work. Through the work of our partner NGO, thousands of people are being raised out of poverty and equipped with new skills and techniques. Individuals, families and communities are being transformed.
Your support covers the transport, food and accommodation costs of staff, as well as venue hire and other essential items. With around 100 families participating in the conference over three days, it costs approximately $250 per family. The impact, however, is priceless.
Please note: If a project is fully funded when your gift arrives, we will allocate your gift to a project, team member or ministry that is in the same location or fulfils a similar purpose. All care is taken to ensure project and gift information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, project information may change without notice.
