Baptist Mission Australia supports an annual event for our partner NGO staff to come together from across South Asia. In a communal culture, times like this are especially important for building up the community.
Held over three days and in a quiet, forest location, our team members join partner NGO staff to showcase their year’s work and strengthen their relationships. For most, this is the only ‘time off’ they have all year. They will be inspired by guest speakers and refreshed through a cultural program including music, dancing and friendly sporting contests and games.
It is a time of connection, refreshment and renewal to support the staff who serve the NGO in life-changing work. Through the work of our partner NGO, thousands of people are being raised out of poverty and equipped with new skills and techniques. Individuals, families and communities are being transformed.
Your support covers the transport, food and accommodation costs of staff, as well as venue hire and other essential items. It costs approximately $250 per family. The impact, however, is priceless.
Invest in the lives of committed, passionate, skilled staff of our partner NGO. This event is a highlight of the year and provides opportunities for deep connection, support and relationships.
Please note: If a project is fully funded when your gift arrives, we will allocate your gift to a project, team member or ministry that is in the same location or fulfils a similar purpose. All care is taken to ensure project and gift information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, project information may change without notice. If you wish to discuss your project choice, contact our Projects Manager on 1800 329 165 or projects@baptistmissionaustralia.org.
