Over the past nine years, their ministry has involved English teaching at local schools, journey with the Thai faith communities, training local leaders, establishing income generating initiatives to support believers, day-to-day relationship building and faith sharing, and the Baan Sawang English Language Centre.
Through all of this, Glenn and Liz’s ministry has been marked by their love of Thailand and the people God placed in their lives. The support of churches and people like you has been vital in enabling them to live in community, embodying the transforming love and hope of Jesus. Thank you!
In 2021, Liz and Glenn began renting an abandoned home with the dream of establishing an English Language Centre for children in the community. Liz felt God say that He would redeem the house so they could be a blessing to the community. In 2022, Liz and Glenn opened Baan Sawang (House of Light) and today it is a thriving, vibrant ministry where children attend highly subsidised English classes from followers of Jesus. Glenn and Liz grew trust with families in the community and it offered them a natural foundation to build authentic relationships, share Bible stories and journey alongside people.
We are grateful this ministry continues with a new teacher and the ongoing support of the Baptist Mission Australia team in Thailand. Liz will also continue one day per week until the end of 2026, to support the ministry during this transition phase. The Baan Sawang project will remain active and we welcome your support of this project going forward, it is a wonderful legacy of Liz and Glenn’s Kingdom work.

We hope that you too will be encouraged by God’s goodness in His mission, and that you might continue to support the work He is doing in Thailand.”

This end of service period reflects their more than a decade of service and ensures they are supported as they resettle into Australia and step away from ministry in Thailand.
