In Lam Dong Province where John live and works, teenagers leave home for months at a time and rent small apartments together in the closest town so they can go to school. They live hours away from any family support and only have each other.
In their villages, employment is low and youth marriage is common for those who aren’t able to access much secondary education.
This project is dedicated to supporting these marginalised students from the remote area of Lam Dong Province, where access to education and mentoring remains extremely limited. Many young people are growing up without direction away from parents for education, vulnerable to negative influences and lacking the confidence to build a better future.
By creating a safe, stable and nurturing learning environment, this project goes beyond traditional education. Through English classes, mentoring and life skills training, students are empowered to transform their thinking, develop strong values and gain a clear and positive vision for their lives. Beyond education, this project is about supporting marginalised youth, growing their confidence and changing lives.
With the right support, these students can grow into confident, responsible men and women who will bring positive change to their families and communities. The project has already begun and is making a real difference with higher student numbers remaining in town for their studies because they are supported.
