Our team members Belle and Luke are volunteering with a local organisation called TonCedar Foundation in Chiang Rai, Thailand. The foundation has certification to facilitate the Itzinya (‘it’s in you’) Start-Up program. This faith-based social enterprise equips young entrepreneurs to explore and develop their ideas for small business, enabling them to start and grow small companies able to employ other young people.
The Itzinya team strives to serve people and society by following the example of Jesus, believing that every person is created unique and has equal value, regardless of faith, gender, ethnicity or any other factor that can lead to discrimination. The vision is to unleash leaders through training, incubating and accelerating value driven entrepreneurs with a key focus on transforming the entrepreneurs.
The project supports the program through subsidising costs of room hire, meals, resources and transportation for young Thai leaders.
We build a sustainable business ecosystem through our holistic approach that integrates faith, stewardship, and innovation. Through our collaborative-based mentorship and support, we invite all to be part of the movement of shaping the culture of work in Chiang Rai.
Please note: If a project is fully funded when your gift arrives, we will allocate your gift to a project, team member or ministry that is in the same location or fulfils a similar purpose.
