We are excited to share about our emerging partnership in Timor-Leste with Gethsemane Baptist Church. The Baptist Foundation of Timor-Leste owns land in a strategic location of Dili and has a heart to come alongside and serve their neighbours through opening a ministry and community centre.
Together with Baptists around the world, we are helping believers in Timor-Leste build this ministry space so they can better reach out to their community.
Over the next few years, with the help of additional partners, the Baptist Foundation will construct more shelter on the land to offer outreach opportunities which include education and health services within the university district. There are significant opportunities to support students and families in this extended neighbourhood. Pray for God’s leading as this ministry grows.
