Tash’s journey began ten years ago while she was studying at uni. After attending a local mission week, Tash felt inspired to move into a share house. She became friends with her neighbours, which included Australian Christians, as well as Muslim refugees. She started a food pantry to meet the women in her area, and grew a desire for them to find life in Jesus. She then spent two years training in intercultural apprenticeship, followed by a three-year Masters of Ministry degree at SMBC.
Tash discovered that there are 330,000 Muslims in Sydney, many of whom have experienced little to no Christian witness. Many of them live in parts of Sydney where churches are closing down and have never met a genuine follower of Jesus.
She is excited about building relationships and having Gospel conversations with Muslim women living in the Lakemba area. Tash is looking at serving in local ministries, such as TESOL, playgroup, food pantry, community BBQs and creating spaces for women to explore the Bible. Your prayerful and financial partnership is enabling her to share God’s love through word and deed. Thank you.
Your gifts will help fund her living and ministry costs. Thank you for your partnership.
Please note:
Gifts to Tash are NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
