For over 30 years, Sam has served in a variety of roles across local churches and mission organisations, working in diverse social and cultural settings. His ministry has always centred on building bridges across cultures and helping others encounter Jesus in meaningful and contextual ways.
Now based in Brisbane, Sam seeks to be a mission and ministry catalyst, providing training and equipping through preaching, seminars and pioneer initiatives through local churches. He has a particular passion for sharing the Gospel with marginalised people from Hindu backgrounds in his neighbourhood.
At the same time, he continues to invest in mission training across India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Nepal, mentoring leaders and equipping believers to engage cross-culturally and contextually with the good news of Jesus.
Sam currently serves as Chair of the Mission Matters Conference at Mt Tamborine, QLD—a gathering that encourages local churches to think globally and act missionally.
“I’m committed to seeing vibrant, culturally distinctive communities from the Indian subcontinent actively follow Jesus,” Sam shares. “Let’s partner together to engage the diaspora communities around us.”
He believes the global mission movement—“from anywhere to everywhere”—is a shared calling for the whole church. Through discipleship, hospitality, and cross-cultural ministry, Sam helps those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds find their place in God’s family.
