Jane has been supporting intercultural team members for decades. In addition to active support, prayer for those serving and hospitality, Jane has also served on the committee for the South Pacific Missionary Member Care conferences.
Jane has worked with Baptist Mission Australia as a Wellbeing Advisor since 2022, and feels privileged to be able to hear the stories of intercultural team members, empathise with them and help them as they process life changes.
Along with her husband Mark, Jane also continues to work in private practice with the Body of Christ. Together they aid addictions clinicians, pastors, intercultural and national workers and couples needing support in their marriages, specialising in the field of sexuality and sexual challenges.
Jane has run a range of intensive programs for addicts and their families, and through this she has come to understand the value of stories and how they not only form who we are, but how we behave with others in relationship to our past.
Jane’s faith in God’s written word both informs and undergirds her confidence as she works formally in training settings, retreats and one-on-one with team members.
Jane is passionate about the wellbeing of every individual working in mission and continues to be encouraged by the dedication of each person involved in Baptist Mission Australia.
