May Mission Month
What's Love Look Like?
Key video
Here is the key video for May Mission Month 2026. Throughout this video, meet followers of Jesus in Thailand, Cambodia and Australia as they ask the question, what does sharing God’s love look like for me today?
This video has been created as a starting point for churches and small groups to explore the What’s Love Look Like? theme and engage with the full series. We pray it prompts conversations in your church community, and spurs you on in mission.
Who's in the video?
Muana and Villy
Villy and Muana have been serving in Thailand with Baptist Mission Australia for 25 years.
Muana and Villy are motivated by love. As they journey alongside local friends, disciple believers, equip faith leaders and offer hospitality, they embody Jesus’ love and message.
In the video, we meet Villy and Muana as they head to their friend’s home to share in a Bible study and prayer time over a meal.
Maria
In 2023, Baptist Mission Australia team members established Language of the Heart – a play therapy centre for children with disabilities.
Maria is one of the local teachers. Everyday, she reflects God’s love for the children and their families in the way she encourages and supports them, helping them to reach their full potential.
In the video, we join her as she prepares centre to welcome a group of families for play therapy.
Matt
Sharing Hope is one of Baptist Mission Australia’s ministry partners, working on the Thai-Burmer border. We partner with them in much needed practical support for displaced people as well as investment in local pastors and Bible college students who are sharing God’s love through word and deed.
Matt is the CEO of Sharing Hope and is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.
Based in Melbourne, we meet Matt as he packs for a trip to spend time on the Thai-Burmer border.
Short version
This video is best experienced in full! If it feels too long for your service, then we’d encourage you to incorporate it into your sermon time by sharing a slightly shorter message.
However, if 4 minutes is simply too long for your service, then we have also created a 2 minute version. This short version includes Scott Pilgrim’s section and part of Muana and Villy’s story.
