In 2025 we established a partnership with Kilifi Baptist Training Institute (KBTI) in Kenya. Together we want to see individuals and communities empowered through theological education.
KBTI is a faith-based organisation in Kenya training local pastors and Christian leaders in theology, mission and Biblical studies and is equipping men and women of faith with leadership skills.
Through this partnership, we will come alongside local believers, develop missional leaders and pursue local community transformation. In this academic year, there are 24 students pursuing training at KBTI and eight part-time teachers, some teaching Certificate level courses and others teaching at the Diploma level.
Baptist Mission Australia will receive and release funds for KBTI for the running of Re-Forma and other local leadership development and training as well as associated resources through to March 2027. Join in the theological training and leadership development of faithful men and women in Kenya!
Additionally, Sally is looking forward to returning to the Counselling and Chaplaincy teams at Rift Valley Academy (RVA), following further studies in Australia. RVA is an international Christian boarding school in Kenya that educates the children of intercultural team members from across Africa.
