Scott Pilgrim   

Executive Director

Scott has many years experience as a local pastor and leader in the Australian Baptist movement and he has a heart to see teams thrive. Scott is a strong leader who is passionate about people meeting and following Jesus in their own culture and language.

As Executive Director, Scott is responsible for the overall leadership, pastoral care and empowerment of effective team structure. In this role, Scott interacts with the Board of Governance and outside organisations.

Susan Campbell   

Associate Executive Director

Susan has served the national team of Baptist Mission Australia since 2005. Her roles have included overseeing learning and development, leading a team of young adult consultants, contributing to the partnership development area and project managing mission education resources.

Susan's studies in leadership and management, organisational dynamics and spiritual direction provide a foundation for her current role in the leadership team. She plays a key part in supporting effective strategic planning, leadership development and learning.

Caryn Chan   

Director of Governance & Central Services

Caryn joined the Leadership Team in early 2022. She brings many years of experience in the professional services and Not for Profit sector. Caryn is passionate about helping the National Team achieve best practice in the areas of Governance, Risk and Operations while coming alongside people and building team culture. She is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Governance Institute of Australia. 

In this new role Caryn oversees a number of strategic ministry support areas including Finance, People & Culture, Supporter Engagement, IT, national administration, risk, compliance and governance.
