Former Buddhist monk overwhelmed with the love of God
Leaders from the Ban Sra and Ban Luang faith community in Thailand spent a weekend with the Global Interaction team for fellowship and to deepen their understanding of the Word of God. They spent time reading the Bible, learning about the books and racing to find particular verses first. They encouraged each other to trust in God in the midst of challenges within their own community.
As they prayed together the presence of the Holy Spirit could be felt powerfully. One of the faith group leaders, a former Buddhist monk Non became so overwhelmed with the love of God he began to cry while sharing from the parable of the lost son. His testimony touched all who attended and they listened to how much God loves His children.
In Thai culture people do not publicly display their emotions. However with this touch of God their emotions could not be hidden. Praise God that Ethnic Thai people are being transformed by His love.
