Solar and Battery Power System

In a remote area, our partner organisation is running training programs, health programs and the project office in a region plagued by power-cuts that are often lasting all day and returning only intermittently throughout the night. With nation-wide fuel shortages, the petrol generator is becoming too expensive to run and another solution is urgently needed.
Without power, computers, fridges and fans don’t work. Neither do people. Especially in South Asia where a typical day is humid and hot, reaching up to 38 degrees Celsius.
With your support, the team will be able to purchase and install a solar and battery backup system to operate eight fans and lights, as well as a wifi modem and routers, and a couple of computers during office hours and throughout the night.
