Ministry grows among garment factory workers in Bangladesh.
In the past months, some Baptist churches in Bangladesh have been connecting with workers from a nearby garment factory. Every Sunday the group gathers for discipleship and to share in communion. A one-day seminar was held recently where they had discussion about living within a Muslim majority community and how to share the message of Jesus with Muslims. Around 70 believers attended and were encouraged by the conversations and what they learned.
Recently, a young couple with theological and teaching qualifications were appointed to work full-time with the factory community. This is an exciting step for the ministry and they will begin in this role next month.
Give thanks for their desire to share the Good News with people who may not heard it otherwise and pray that many of the factory workers will be open to receiving Jesus.
